Course Description

In this basic self-study course in Federal Tax Related Matters, individuals will learn and understand the basic due diligence requirements as a paid tax preparer in a way that is easily understood through examples and methodologies that are appropriate for professionals at all knowledge level. This course highlights dos and don'ts as a paid tax preparer, how to properly document a file, a breakdown of form 8867 and requirements that are of most importance to a paid tax practitioner including due diligence reinforcements and penalities for noncompliance. This course is eligible for 7 hours of continuing education credit.

LEARN AT YOUR OWN PACE

Since this is a self-study course, you can complete it at your own pace and on your own schedule. The course is divided into 5lessons with video training provided for each session, fill in the blank worksheets and literature from the IRS are provided to help you easily grasp what is being taught by the instructor. At the end of each lesson, there are review questions that will test your knowledge. Although the review test is not graded or recorded, it is required that you go through them to help prepare you for the final exam.
